Annbriar Golf Course Addtional Information & History

Annbriar Golf Course: Rated by Golf Digest as one of America’s Top 500 places to play golf, Annbriar Golf Course, in Waterloo, Illinois, boasts rolling fairways, manicured greens and precision-placed tee boxes. A popular choice for professional and seasoned golfers, Annbriar is also well-suited to amateur golfers. It’s a great course for honing golf skills and practicing multiple approaches. Named posthumously (by her parents) in honor of Ann Nobbe, Annbriar was designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan. Construction began in 1991 and Annbriar Golf Course opened to the public on Memorial Day weekend, 1993. The course covers 226 acres with 5 ˝ miles of cart path. A 100-year-old smokehouse still stands on the property, and was adopted as Annbriar’s logo.
