Are you kidding with the above rating comments? This place have one of the worst public golf course staffs attuide. They think they are so above and highly than others. If they weren_t on park district payroll, they would be out of work... |

WOnderfulk staff and well maintained course. Awesome special Sunday pm for Parents with under 13 year olds. They even encouraged me to take out my 2 and 3 year old kids...and it went extremely well. The course played slow, so pleanty of time to enjoy being out with the family. |

Played this in early spring, had a great time, some neat holes, nice scenery, I will play this one again if I can get a tee time. |

27 holes nestled in a forest preserve. Not one of those expensive and annoying courses surrounded by a housing development. Course is in nice shape and there are some challenging holes to pump you score up. Greens are easier than most and slower play is common. Practice range has those mats that turn your club green. Go to Cantigny to practice, play here. There is a girl on a beverage that delivers beer to you out on the course. |

nothing fancy, but a good value for the price. has a nice variety of holes, requiring you to use all your clubs. with the exception of #s 10 and 18, the course is fairly wide open. |
Arrowhead Golf Course Addtional Information & History
Arrowhead Golf Course: Given Chicagoland Golf Magazine’s 4 ˝-Star Rating two years in a row, Arrowhead Golf Course is comprised of three 9-hole golf courses that can combine to form three different par 72, 18-hole layouts. The original 18-hole Antlers Club was developed in the 1920s, and in 1929, was renamed Arrowhead Golf Club because of numerous Native American artifacts discovered on the site during construction. Today, the Arrowhead course features Bent grass, and includes 77 bunkers, and water play on 17 of the holes. The practice area offers putting and chipping greens, bunkers and a lighted driving range. Free clinics and demos are available, and Arrowhead Golf Course amenities include their bar and grill, two main (plus private) dining areas and the Arrowhead Signature Brunch. Reservations for tee times and dining are recommended.
