Biltmore Country Club: The 18-hole Biltmore golf course at the Biltmore Country Club has been offering challenging golf to its members for more than 80 years. Located in Barrington, Illinois, this traditional course, a member of the National Audubon Society, features narrow fairways, mature trees, meadows and wetlands. Designed by Leonard Macomber, the Biltmore golf course opened in 1926 and was often frequented by golf legend Sam Snead. The golf course at Biltmore Country Club offers 6,595 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. The course rating is 72.2 and it has a slope rating of 132 on Bent grass. Amenities include a pro shop, putting green, short-game range, driving range and full-service men’s and women’s locker rooms. A junior program and private lessons are available.
