Calumet Golf Club Addtional Information & History

The championship 18-hole Calumet course at the Calumet Country Club in Homewood, Illinois is a private club featuring small, undulating greens and narrow, Bent grass, tree-lined fairways. The course also has Water hazards, doglegs and strategically placed bunkers in play. Calumet Country Club offers 6,559 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. Designed by Donald J. Ross, ASGCA, the Calumet golf course originally opened in 1901, reopened on its current site in 1922 and was redesigned in the 1950s. The course rating is 72.2 and it has a slope rating of 132 on Bent grass.
