| I have golfed this course several times. It is very very above average and the first nine are semi easy but the back half is very challenging. If they could mixup the front and back I think this course would be more challenging than you think. The 16th over the river is better than Seven Bridges 17th over the pond. Recommended for the ones who want a challenge for the easy side. |

| I have played here about 5 times. The greens fees seemed a bit expensive for what you get. The course layout is pretty good, course could use some maintenance |

| No trick shots needed on this course, BUT... if your ball lands even a few inches off the fair way, you_ll never see it again, due to the thick brush that borders nearly every inch of ever fairway. Bring lots of extra balls. Still, good round. I played all 18 -- 2nd half def more fun. |

| I thought this was a good layout but a tough course. At times, the course seemed unfair. Lots of blind shots and hazards. It is a good rate, but a far drive. I play it once a year. |

In 1995, the 18-hole Cinder Ridge golf course at the Cinder Ridge Golf Links facility in Wilmington, Illinois was nominated for design awards from Golf Digest. The course features 6,968 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 42. The course rating is 74.1 and it has a slope rating of 139 on Bent grass. Designed by George Kappos, the Cinder Ridge golf course opened in 1995.
