Cog Hill no.4 Dubsdread Addtional Information & History

Cog Hill Golf and Country Club: Course #4, “Dubsdread”: A natural-style championship 18-hole golf course, Cog Hill Course #4 has been nationally ranked since its opening in 1964. Originally designed by Dick Wilson and Joe Lee, golf course architect Rees Jones oversaw the course’s renovation from 2007-2008. The course, located in Lemont, Illinois, now offers new and improved features, including 18 new greens with Sub-Air Systems, repositioned and redesigned sand bunkers, additional tee options and a 497-yard, par 4 finishing hole with a green moved threateningly close to the nearby pond. Dubsdread is a challenging and rewarding course for even the world’s most experienced golfers. A favorite of Tiger Woods, among other distinguished players, Dubsdread has hosted four USGA Championships, The BMW Championship and The Western Open Championship. The course is ranked #1 in Illinois in Golfweek’s “Best Courses You Can Play” and Golf Digest ranks it as 29th in the “100 Best Courses You Can Play.”
