Exmoor Country Club Addtional Information & History
The private 18-hole Exmoor course at the Exmoor Country Club facility in Highland Park, Illinois offers 6,849 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Greens and fairways are Bent grass. Three tee boxes are available, offering a challenging round of golf for players of all skill levels. This historic, traditional course has extremely fast and severely sloped greens. Water hazards come into play on a few holes, and numerous mature trees can affect shots. The course rating is 73.2 and it has a slope rating of 136 on Bent grass. Designed by H.J. Tweedie/(R) Donald J. Ross, ASGCA/Ron Prichard, the Exmoor golf course opened in 1896.
