Super deals to be had at Glenwoodie. We booked our tee time 2+ days out and the rate was $31 per person including cart on a Saturday at noon. The course was in great shape. The front nine was a good warm-up for the much more difficult back nine - lots of blind shots and elevation changes. This course is an incredible value. I will definitely play here in the future. |

Had a standing Sunday tee for years and have seen many improvements. Always a challenge. Only a few toss away holes with no imagination. Relatively flat until you get to the back nine. Once had the largest greens in all of Chicago, but many have been trimmed down to suit _good golfers_. Located in a woodsy area, so mosquitos may be a problem depending on rain. |

The course is OK, its the employees that are not OK, They are very rude. I guess unless you are a part of them. The practice facilities are among the wurst I have seen, The golf ball machine is constantly mechanically malfunctioning and the golf balls are so old and noting to write home about. The soil is so hard it feels like you are hitting balls on clay and make sure you carry a lot of mosquito spray with you. It is very over rated. |
