Hinsdale Golf Club Addtional Information & History

The 18-hole Hinsdale course at the Hinsdale Golf Club in Clarendon Hills, Illinois is a traditional golf course. The course offers four sets of tees to assure a challenging round of golf to players of all skill levels. This traditional course has narrow fairways and small greens. The course rating is 71.7 and it has a slope rating of 129 on Bent grass.  The course’s signature hole #16 is a 215-yard, par 3, modeled after the cartoon character Andy Gimp. Hinsdale Golf Club offers 6,520 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. Originally designed by Donald J. Ross, ASGCA, Larry and Roger Packard redesigned this course in 1975, followed by Dick Nugent in 1980 and Bob Lohmann in 1990. Hinsdale golf course first opened in 1898.
