This is coming from a golfer who enjoyed it because I am just starting. Some water but not much sand pits. I liked it no trouble at all with time. Ps bring a lot of golf balls because there are lots of trees. |

Above Average for economics of play. Wide Open, nice, BYOB, crowded on weekends, cheep but totally worth the money. Walk it, it_s too short for carts, and very, very flat. No Sand hardly, and very few H2O holes. |

Without a doubt one of the biggest jokes of a course I have played. almost 4 hours for 9 holes before we quit. By the 2nd tee we were the 4th group at the tee box. They seem more interested in getting people onto the course then allowing for even a somewhat relaxed round. Save yourself some time and play a different course. You might have to pay $10.00 more but at least you will get a round in. Met a guy in the clubhouse who had just finished an 8 hour round. Indian Boundary you are a joke! |

Overall I_m a beginner and really like this course. I have played at a lot of nice courses with clients from work, although this course is nice its great in the afternoon. I personally think its expensive compared to other golf courses in the area. It does have a poliet staff and nice views, a whole lot of deer. Dont be suprised when teeing off there will be about 10 deer standing within 20 feet of you, or on the green when your trying to putt. |

well maintained public course... not overly difficult (low rating/slope)but a good test. straight forward and not too gimicky - like many of the new courses being churned out surrounded by housing developments. if you_re a average golfer (like myself) give this track a go-round... it will make you feel better about your game. enjoy! |

Not a bad beginner course. They finally uprooted the terrible asphalt tee boxes and put in real grass. That is a step in the right direction... |

This course was below average at best. We had 9:00 am tee times and they had already managed to get .5 hours behind. I have never played a course where you were required to hit tee shots off of a rubber mat. The price was fair ($27 to walk) but it attracted a lot of hacks which led to very slow play (5.5 hours for a short 18) I was suprised at the excelled condition of the greens. I spoke with the starter who indicated they are trying to make major changes so hopefully this course will improve but right now skip it if you can. |

Course is acceptable for beginners, (with larger fairways). The staff/ tee times are a whole other issue. |

This has to be one of the best courses I have ever played on. The greens are like professional greens, their fast moving and deeply curved slopes are wonderful. Try out this course if you have a chance. |

14 of the tee boxes are asphalt (no joke)! like playing at a driving range. still, i somehow had a great time. huge fairways make for fun play. saw about 30 deer out there (in chicago!). very cheap, 36$/person, cart included. don't take clients, do take old buddies. played fast. |
Indian Boundary Golf Course Addtional Information & History
Cook County's Forest Commission added the Indian Boundary course in 1931. Its construction contract featured a clause hereby building contractors worked at their own expense if construction went beyond 90 days. Amazingly, the construction .y 90 days after work an. The county also introduced a new nine-hole. In truth, this layout had been the third nine of Edgebrook's 27-hole site.
