Inverness Golf Course Addtional Information & History

The 18-hole Inverness Golf Course at the Inverness Golf Club in Palatine, Illinois is located 15 minutes from O’Hare International Airport. Inverness opened in 1926; originally designed by Leon McCumber, the layout was updated by Brent Wadsworth. Inverness Golf Course features many mature trees, the Salt Creek, ponds and rolling terrain. It offers a challenging game of golf to players of all skill levels. The clubhouse, built in 1959, has been completely refurbished, but retains its traditional look and feel. A PGA-approved facility, Inverness boasts an extensive pro shop. The Inverness Golf Course offers 6,750 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 72.9 and it has a slope rating of 134 on Bent grass.
