Inwood Golf Course Addtional Information & History

The 18-hole Inwood Golf Course in Joliet, Illinois was designed for accurate golfers. At 6,196 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71, players’ skills are tested. The course rating is 69.4 and it has a slope rating of 117 on Bent grass.  Inwood Golf Course opened in 1929.  In 1989, water was added on six of the holes on the back nine.  Inwood plays host to a variety of events for all players, including the Joliet Park District's Open Golf Championship, and a number of events for juniors, seniors and ladies.  Group outings are welcome, and individual or group lessons are available. Amenities at Inwood Golf Course include a lighted driving range, a large practice putting green and chipping, pitching, and bunker play practice areas. Inwood also provides a concession area/bar and a pro shop.
