Kemper Lakes Golf Course: The 18-hole Kemper Lakes Golf Course in Kildeer, Illinois was built on some of the most beautiful lake country in Chicago’s northwest suburbs. The property features mature stands of oak, large lakes and untouched meadowland. Designed by Ken Killian, ASGCA/Richard P. Nugent, ASGCA, the Kemper Lakes Golf Course has been played by such golf dignitaries as Palmer, Woods, Nicklaus, Sorenstam, Irwin and Stewart, among many others. Kemper Lakes is currently ranked by Golf Digest as 27th in the United States, and is consistently rated by USA Today as one of the Top 25 Public Golf Courses in the country. Kemper Lakes Golf Course opened in 1978. The course offers 7,217 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 68.1 and it has a slope rating of 126 on Bent grass.
