The course rating is 70.7 and it has a slope rating of 127 on Blue grass. Designed by E. Lawrence Packard, ASGCA, the Lake Barrington Shores golf course opened in 1978. Lake Barrington Shore Golf Club is a members only club. Memberships are available for residents and non-residents. The 18-hole championship golf course features rolling terrain with ponds and wooded fairways. The clubhouse offers dining and bar facilities overlooking 100-acre Lake Barrington.
