Lincolnshire Country Club Addtional Information & History

The golf course at Lincolnshire Country Club, located in Crete, Illinois opened in 1927. The clubhouse opened in 1928. Course #1 opened in 1927; courses #2 and #3, overlooking the Creek Valley, were designed by Tom Bendelow, built by American Park Builders and opened in 1929. A fourth course was under construction in the summer of 1929, but due to the Great Depression was never finished. The 18-hole Lincolnshire Country Club golf course is located about 45 minutes from the Chicago Loop. It features rolling hills, multi-level greens and mature trees, and is fun for golfers of all skill levels. Lincolnshire Country Club amenities include a dining room and lounge, ladies locker room and a golf shop.
