| This joyless course should only be considered by brand new golfers, children or seasoned golfers looking for a reason to quit the game. No starter or ranger lead to exceedingly slow play. The only sand hazards were in the tee boxes. The courses maintenance has yielded large swatches of crabgrass mixed with parking lot like dust bowl fairways. The proximity to the Interstate produces a constant hum that ruins the nature aspect of a golf outing and makes it difficult to hold conversations with your foursome. Little details empty watering coolers, no beer girl and Kafkaesque course conditions are true hallmarks of a course in decline. |

| Most length of any 9 hole course around.Doglegs left and right with 2 par fives and 2 par threes give the course a great mix of holes.Perfect for a first thing in the morning or after work 9.Great replay value.Very likely to see a few deer grazing as well.Try it!! |

| One of the few 9-holers that is a par 36. Gorgeous indigenous Illinois forest landscape. Now bear in mind that this course plays for less than $20 so don_t expect Cantigney. Only complaint: no bunkers, and frequent slow play. I love this course! |

| Nice 9 hole course. Much better since Billy Casper_s group took over. Open for the most part (no sand or water) but still an ok test for the weekend golfer. Tends to get crowded after 3pm |
