Morris Country Club Addtional Information & History

The 18-hole Morris golf course at the private Morris Country Club in Morris, Illinois features small greens and narrow, tree-lined fairways. Sand bunkers and water hazards come into play on 13 of the holes. Short and playable, Morris offers 6,060 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 71. Originally a 9-hole golf course, Morris Country Club reopened in 1979 as an 18-hole course. Available amenities at the Morris Country Club include a driving range, practice green, full-service restaurant, banquet facilities, a pro shop and lessons from a PGA pro. The course rating is 69.1 and it has a slope rating of 119 on Blue grass.  Designed by Rees Jones, ASGCA, the Morris Country Club opened in 1924.
