Naperbrook Golf Course Addtional Information & History

Naperbrook Golf Course: The 18-hole championship Naperbrook course, located in northwest unincorporated Plainfield, Illinois, features 6,755 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Naperbrook is a “links style” golf course. It features 10 ponds, prairie grasses and rolling hills, with 4 sets of trees, hidden bunkers and wide fairways. The greens are large, including one double green. In 1988, the 170-acre Crego Farm was purchased by the Naperville Park District to build another golf course in addition to the Springbrook Golf Course, which opened in 1974. Designed by Roger B. Packard, the Naperbrook golf course opened in 1991. The course rating is 72.2 and has a slope rating of 125 on Blue grass.  Amenities at Naperbrook include professional lessons, a ten-acre driving range, separate lesson tee and 10,000- and 3,000-square-foot practice putting greens. The clubhouse features a golf shop, a food service area and an outdoor patio. More than 39,500 rounds are played on the course annually. Naperbrook Golf Course has been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the “Top Places to Play.”
