For years, this used to be one of my favorite area courses; I didn_t mind the hour-plus drive because the Oak Club never disappointed. I recently went there this summer and was dumbstruck to find what had been done to the back nine. It made me wonder if the \_designer\_ had ever worked on a golf course before. As we finished the round, we lamented what we had just seen and said goodbye to the Oak Club. Take care old friend, it was great knowing you. |

Use to be one of my favorite tracks. The front nine is a great layout but the redesigned back is now a disaster. Narrow to non existent fairways with trees that block the fairways and shots to the green have ruined this course for me. |
