We had about an hour left before dark and they told us we have to turn in the golf cart. We finished 14 holes. The couse was in poor condition. |

Fantastic course, lots of challenges. Cheap! This course is in the lowest spot in DuPage county. So it does tend to flood more severely than other courses (sorry _Gulfer_ they aren_t working with the same conditions). But when it_s dry there isn_t a better deal in Chicago. |

I rank this course with Meadow Lark and/or course of the same stature. The reason why I rank this course so badly is the price compared to quality (if not solely based on the quality). I_ve been fortunate to play most courses in DuPage County (including the top private courses) as well as the munis and Oak Meadows is probably the worst course I_ve played in DuPage County. My playing partner attributed the overall poor condition to the recent rain, but I can_t agree. Other courses within miles have had the same weather conditions, but they have endured relatively well. Our experience with the staff was fine. With fairways and greens with more mud than grass makes it difficult to say anything good about Oak Meadows. Plus, some of the tee boxes had grass higher than the fairways at other municipal courses. It_s needless to say that I will never go back to Oak Meadows. If you_re looking for a decent course for a good price don_t go here. We paid about 30 bucks and would have rather paid twice that somewhere else and at least enjoyed ourselves. Hope this review helps. |

Slow play is common. Nice course but Greens could be a little nicer. Lots of worn patches. Fairways are laid on mud. |

I call it the poor man's Medinah. Old growth traditional course. A great deal. |

Overall nice course. Can be challenging due to tight fairways and sloping greens. Lots of 3 putts. |

Tight and longish. Very scenic treelined fairways on every hole. Good course for the money. Floods easily, though. |

Well conditioned course. Tight fairways, challenging but fair. Extremely poor customer service (Gestapo Course Rangers) resulting in diminished course enjoyment. |

SCENIC COURSE, FAIR AMOUNT OF TERRAIN AND WATER WITH TIGHT FAIRWAYS. ONLY POORLY LAID OUT HOLE IS THE 18TH WITH "BLIND" DRIVE DOWNSLOPE, ALMOST GOT HIT TAKING MY 2ND SHOT! |

Good Hot Dogs??? They gave me food poisoning. It is a great course. Some of the tee boxes are like hitting out of a tunnel of trees, adds character. This course will seperate good players from mediocre... |
