Of course you must be a member, it_s a private country club and a major championship course (the flack that happened at the 03 US Open was the USGA_s fault for cutting the rough mid tournament). Beautiful course, spectacular design - old school tree-lined golf at it_s best. South course is amazing as well. Hopefully it will host another major soon. |

Must eb guest of a member. Course is long on teh scorecard - a par 70 at 7000 yards from teh Blue tees but did not feel like it was that long. Course is fantastic. Pristine shape. You can feel the history as you walk the holes from Walter Hagen to Jim Furyk. Course hosted 2 US opens and 1 PGA Champtionship. Hole 3,4,5 were my facorite. Absolutely 5 star course. |
