Olympia Fields North Course Addtional Information & History

The championship 18-hole "North" golf course at the private Olympia Fields Country Club in Olympia Fields, Illinois was ranked #41 in GolfWeek’s Top 100 U.S. Courses. The North Course has hosted many prestigious golf tournaments, including the U.S. Open in 2003 and the PGA Championship. Olympia Fields Country club features the world’s largest clubhouse. The North Course offers 7,157 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. Club amenities available include top-notch practice facilities and a notably large caddy program. The course rating is 76.2 and it has a slope rating of 150 on Bent grass.  Originally designed by Willie Park, Jr., Mark Mungeam, ASGCA, the North golf course opened in 1916. In 1997, the North Course was redesigned by Jim Furyk.
