The 18-hole "South" golf course at the private Olympia Fields Country Club in Olympia Fields, Illinois offers 6,594 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Club amenities available include top-notch practice facilities and a notably large caddy program. Slightly shorter than Olympia Fields’ North Course, the South Course rating is 72.3 and it has a slope rating of 132 on Bent grass. The South Course also has more water in play than the North Course. Originally built in 1915 and designed by Tom Bendelow, Olympia Fields South Course was recently restored by Steven R. Smyers, ASGCA. The South golf course opened in 2008.
