I_m about a 35 handicap golfer and the course had it_s way with me. If you don_t land in the fairway, you will either lose your ball in the thick rough, or find yourself hacking out of it. Low handicappers I expect, would enjoy the challenge. |

I have been playing golf for about five months. I have only been on a few courses but I really enjoyed this one. The course was very clean. I would like to see restrooms on the course. The condition of the course was great considering the amount of rain we had the previous day.The staff was very friendly. |

This is one of the easiest courses that you will play at all year, i dont think there is a hole that you wont be able to par. The ruff is like the grass in your back yard. This is a good course to go and work on your basics, and to take beginners. |

A solid executive course, favors long hitters with some short par 4's and a short par 5 #9. This is the location where I have beaten Ron Mouw on several occasions. He can tell you about the sand and the rough on this course. |

I believe this course is built on what used to be a landfill. A beautiful restoration of the land. Deceptively tough course. |

One of my favorite local courses, solid and challenging. I enjoy watching my brother Jim and nephew Bob explore the sand and rough here as I beat them each summer. |

A wonderful, challenging course. I spent so much time in the sand that it was like a day at the beach. Im also adding a machete to my bag to deal with that tall grass. |

A great course except for the fact that my Uncle Gary creamed me and my dad here last summer. The high point of my day was losing 4 balls into the creek on number 9. Thank goodness for the beer cart! |
Palos Hills Municipal Golf Course Addtional Information & History
Palos Hills Municipal Golf Course: A par 35, links-style, 9-hole golf course, Palos Hills was ranked by Chicagoland Golf as one of 1990’s top 10 new public courses to open in Illinois. Playing from 2,200 to 3,000 yards from the tips, Palos Hills offers Bent grass fairways and a well-bunkered layout, offering championship conditions for all levels of player. Built by Bradlink, Inc. and designed by the late David Gill, the Palos Hills course sits on a former 45-acre landfill. The site, donated to the city, is now landscaped with prairie grasses, wildflowers and natural woods. Stony Creek also lends its beauty to the landscape. The facility includes a full-service clubhouse, cart and club rentals and pro shop, plus an outstanding 2,400-square-foot venue, available for catered events.
