Pine Hills Golf Course Addtional Information & History
The 9-hole Pine Hills course at the Pine Hills Golf Club facility in Ottawa, Illinois started out as the Ottawa Country Club. The course offers 3,203 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 35. The course rating is 36 and it has a slope rating of 122. Designed by Tom Bendelow, the Pine Hills golf course opened in 1924. Pine Hills Golf Course was one of the first area courses to have major irrigation systems to irrigate the grass. Pine Hills is the home of the Mike Sipula Memorial Invitational Tournament, featuring top amateur golfers.
