Pottawatomie Golf Course was opened on October 3, 1997. The first 9-hole course internationally to become a fully certified Audobon Cooperative Sanctuary by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System (ACSS). The course goes through an extensive recertification procedure every three years to maintain the prestigious standing. The golf course is one of only 234 courses in the world to receive the honor. Pottawatomie Golf Course is owned and operated by the St. Charles Park District and certainly the most beautiful golf course in the Fox Valley area. they also offers a scenic views with lush landscapes along the shore the Fox River.
