Prairie Bluff Golf Course: The 18-hole Prairie Bluff course at the Prairie Bluff Golf Course facility in Lockport, Illinois is a championship course set on 237 acres of Northern Illinois’ rolling hills and prairie grass. Prairie Bluff features 4 sets of tees, more than 40 bunkers and 10 lakes. The course offers 6,857 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Golfers of all skill levels enjoy the scenery and are challenged by the terrain. Prairie Bluff Golf Course amenities include a 10-acre driving range, group and private lessons, a putting green and a short game area with bunker. The 10,000-square-foot clubhouse features a pro shop, banquet hall and a bar. The course rating is 72.1 and it has a slope rating of 122 on Bent grass.  Designed by two-time U.S. Open Champion, Andy North, and Roger B. Packard, the Prairie Bluff Golf Course opened in 1998.
