| This place is tricked up and full of dicks. Every old orange bastard in the Chicagoland area has a permanent tee time here on the weekends, so you couldn_t play this mess even if you wanted to on a Sat or Sun. The rangers are dicks, the employees are dicks, and the patrons are dicks. Golf at its finest! |

| This is the best links style course in Chicagoland for the money. The course is usually in great shape and is very rewarding when you hit good shots. Its not to difficult of a course so if your playing well low scores can be had. |

| With no rain in 40 days, this course is in great shape. The rough at all other courses are like concrete, no here. The rough is well watered and cut to about 2 inches. The tee boxes and greens are awesome. Under $50 cant go wrong. |

| The course is always in great shape, you will have fun, what the course gives in playability it takes away on the subtle breaks on the greens. The practice area is the best in the area. |

Prairie Bluff Golf Course: The 18-hole Prairie Bluff course at the Prairie Bluff Golf Course facility in Lockport, Illinois is a championship course set on 237 acres of Northern Illinois’ rolling hills and prairie grass. Prairie Bluff features 4 sets of tees, more than 40 bunkers and 10 lakes. The course offers 6,857 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Golfers of all skill levels enjoy the scenery and are challenged by the terrain. Prairie Bluff Golf Course amenities include a 10-acre driving range, group and private lessons, a putting green and a short game area with bunker. The 10,000-square-foot clubhouse features a pro shop, banquet hall and a bar. The course rating is 72.1 and it has a slope rating of 122 on Bent grass. Designed by two-time U.S. Open Champion, Andy North, and Roger B. Packard, the Prairie Bluff Golf Course opened in 1998.
