Sandy Pines Addtional Information & History
Sandy Pines Golf Club is known as being a porty yet challenging golf course. The course has many impressive characteristics similar to those you would see in the Carolinas. An impressive greens and spectacular drainage coupled with a native Pine barrens type topography that makes the Sandy Pines a fun yet a unique golf experience destinations. In 2004, the course went through a renovation to improve the facilities under by the architect Tim Nugent of Nugent Golf Inc. In 2005, the major renovations were done under the ownership of S.P. Real Estate, LLC such as four sets of tee boxes, bent grass fairways, aesthetically pleasing landscapes and many more facilities that have been improved. The course has a four challenging par three, ten par four and four par five. It will test your skills on the tight fairways, strategically placed hazard locations and expanded yardage will be challenging to even the most experienced golfer.
