I thought the course was in great shape. The staff was very kind to me. There were some rude customers but you get that any where on the south side. I had a very nice time and i enjoyed myself. I will play there any chance I get. |

very poor rough and fairways are like rough.rotten trees limbs crowd the 4th hole at the tee box.slow play and very easy to loose your ball even if you hit a good shot.outside people hang around the course and drink 40 ounce beer bottles in bag.may play there if i just want to pratice my game. |

The actual couse is ok. its short but the fairways are narrow..so a good tee shot is a must...My biggest complaint with this course is the staff...rude, rude, rude |

Don't ever book this golf course, you cannot cancel your reservation here. Watch out for the scam. I have complained to the better business bureau. |

JUST HORRIBLE......SOME PEOPLE THINK ITS THEIR PERSONAL COURSE AND ITS A BACK YARD AT BEST.....NOT WORTH THE FEW DOLLARS IT COST. |

Course in poor shape, and management was unexcuseably rude. Do not play this course; go to Jackson Park instead for a much better round. |

South Shore is a short course that is hemmed in by South Shore Drive and the lake. Not in great shape, but scenic. Very pleasant surroundings and a good value. |

The course was not that well kept up and some of the people playing on the course were rude. It was nice playing so close to the lake though. |
Golfer: Tim Date: 2002-02-06 Rating: |
Narrow fairways, big trees, and lots of streets . . .but yes, the lake does make up for it all. |
Golfer: J. Date: 2002-02-06 Rating: |
Not very well kept. Too many roads in play. But the lake is very nice. |
Golfer: Gerry Date: 2002-02-06 Rating: |
This could be a great short course if they would maintain it in the least bit. The greens here were like a high school football field in December; putting was nothing short of impossible. I agree with most that playing close to the lake is nice, but I don't think I would return. There are similar values in the area where the course is maintained much better. |
