Springbrook Golf Course Addtional Information & History

Springbrook Golf Course: Located in west central Naperville, adjacent to the DuPage County Forest Preserve’s Dragon Lake, the championship 18-hole Springbrook Golf Course features two practice putting greens and a short game practice green with bunkers. It also offers a 28-stall natural turf driving range. Mature trees and abundant foliage enhance the beauty of the manicured tees, greens and fairways. The Springbrook Golf Course facility features 6,900 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. Designed by Roger B. Packard, and opened in 1974, the 35-year-old facility offers a pleasant challenge for golfers of all skill levels. The Park District purchased the location—a 170-acre farm site—in 1969; the current clubhouse was added in 1990 and was partially renovated during 2007-2008. The course rating is 72.6 and it has a slope rating of 124 on Blue grass.  More than 40,000 rounds of golf are played on the course annually. Golf Digest has named Springbrook Golf Course as one of the “Top Places to Play.”
