| Took my father here for Golf. He lives near St Andrews. After taking $175 off us to play his course, the golf pro complained to him that he paid $150 to play St Andrews!! He must have thought his course was better than St Andrews! Good course, but play Harborside or Golf Curse of Illinois for half the price. |

| this is an above average course for sure but definately overrated...you_ll find this course on many top 10 lists in the chicago area...but i can think of others that come before it..but that depends on what kind of course you expect for over a hundo a round...it is links style hole by hole with not much variety in layout..if you like the links style, this is a course for you..but for me personally links style courses don_t work well in the flat midwest scenery...you just end up seeing a lot of subdivision developments off in the distance..not some long expanse of water ie scotland...for my money, play some other courses (some with trees) in the area for cheaper with better layouts that haven_t been plopped down in the middle of an old naval air base...harborside (plopped down in the middle of an old industrial area) dubs, kemper, cantigny, klein creek, praire landing, heritage bluffs, ruffled feathers...all better. |
