Trappers Turn Addtional Information & History

The histroy started during the year of 1991 when the Trappers Turn Golf Club established. Andy North, the two-time U.S. Open champion and Roger Packard, the renowned golf course have created what many consider the ultimate golf course. North and Packard masterfully molded a layout to compliment the ddiffering land features. The course is set in an area carved by glaciers, with the beauty of the Wisconsin Dells countryside as its backdrop creating a uniquely challenging and scenic design. During 1998, Trappers Turn Golf Club host the Wisconsin State Open and won by PGA tour winner Steve Stricker as well as several Wisconsin PGA Championships. After the Wisconsin State Open, the ground-breaking began for the addition of the Arbor nine as well as reconstruction of the first three holes of the original 18 layout. In the year 2000, Trappers Turn Golf Club wa proud to present the Lake, Canyon, and Arbor nines. The 27 hole facility allows the guest to choose between Scottish flair, traditional tree-lined fairways and holes compatible witht he natural canyon beauty that made Wisconsin Dells famous. The Masterpiece continues during 2007 with under the new ownership of Kalahari Resorts, Trappers Turn is proud to announce the acquisition of a full color state of the art GPS system by Uplink. The system allow the guest to view the advance graphics of each hole and provide a precise distance measurements to the pin, hazards and other golf cars on the course.
