| Course is decent for recreational golfers. Overpriced on weekends. Staff acts like the place is Olympia Fields. They act like they're doing you a favor letting you on the course when there are about 2 cars in the parking lot |

| village green is a very sporty layout that is a good test for the skilled player, but not so severe as to make it impossible for the casual golfer. Friendly staff and reasonable price, make it a perfect location for my yearly "stiggy" open. |

| Village Green is a long fluid course. Hitting up on the greens can be tricky at times, surrounded by sand bunkers, it makes the seasoned duffer work for a great lie. Off the 3rd tee look for a wonderful old man named "Frank" selling you back your balls. I had fun here, you should too! |

| As the name suggests, this course has fantastic greens. The rest of the course is semi-challenging with a few doglegs and some approaches over water. The trees are not so large that if you're off the fairway you can still recover. |

Village Green Country Club: The 18-hole Village Green course at the Village Green Country Club is located in the heart of Lake County in Mundelein, Illinois. The course boasts a well-maintained layout in a natural setting. Village Green is a classic parkland-style golf course with tree-lined fairways, undulating Bent grass greens and well-situated bunkers and water. The course is a pleasant challenge to golfers of all skill levels. Amenities include an upgraded clubhouse with a casual, sports bar atmosphere. The course offers 6,235 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70 . The course rating is 69.2 and it has a slope rating of 115 on grass. Designed by Ray Didier, the Village Green golf course opened in 1955.
