White Deer Run is your typical modern residential golf course development. Virtually every hole is flanked on both sides by similar looking big homes. I would compare the course Klein Creek, or maybe Whisper Creek. The homes are typically set pretty far back off the fairways, the rough is also kept quite low. Additinally, there are few trees on the site, so outside of #_s 9 _ 18 you have a course where you can safely drive it practically anywhere. It_s a second shot course, as the well bunkered greens are big and uneven. I_d say give it a try if you don_t mind the houses, but at $89 on the weekend, you_d be crazy not to try to get on Pine Meadow insted, where you can even walk, or even Stonewall Orchard. Spectacular driving range and nice staff. Glad I tried it, but unlikely to race back there. |

Great course! Excellent condition, challenging, and interesting layouts. The only drawback is the price. |

Very challenging golf course with many sets of tees to play. The condition especially the greens are very good. The driving range is excellent as they hold a top notch golf school there. It's a must play in the northwest suburbs. |

A little over rated but a very friendly staff that I greatly appreciated. The course still needs to mature a little more, it might be a little overpriced but what the heck, it's only money$$$ |

Layout is nice, greens are in excellent condition. Fairways need help, alot of weeds. Sand in bunkers seems heavier then "normal" Not worth the Money ($79 w. cart) I would go to Pine Meadows first. |

This is a very nice course. It's a relatively new course,(or so it appears.) with lots of challenging holes. I would rank this one in the same category with Ruffled Feathers and Seven Bridges. Unfortunately, it's just as expensive too. ---- Give it a try |

Beautiful course. Maybe one notch below the Ruffled Feathers class. A little pricey. But the layout is nice and there are a sufficient number of challenging holes. |
