Played East Course in September after the BIG rain. A bit soggy in some areas, but I should not have been there in the first place. Greens were a bit rough especially on the fringes. Fairways were in good shape. Very pleasant starter, cart-girl, snack bar, and restaurant. Good value. I would play this again. |

Great course overall. I went in July of 2008 and the greens and fairways were in pristine condition. Water hazards and landscaping were really well kept and thoughtfully aesthetic. Staff was very kind (they must have made some changes). The west course is tree-lined, making it considerably easier. You will not lose a ball, as the grass within and under the trees is also in excellent condition. No mulch piles, not exposed construction, no pipes or other artificial sites. Tee boxes were a bit spongy and soft. Price for what you got was really great. I_ve paid nearly twice as much for not nearly twice as good. Excellent bargain. Great, great golf course. I_ll be going back numerous times. |

Solid course for the money. The course is a little too forgiving at times, but it is an enjoyable place to play if you don_t want to spend a fortune. |

Heavily wooded course that plays to a straight shooters advantage. Some holes seem mishandicapped when you compare the card to the turf. Overall a great staff and a well-maintained facility. |

My experience at White Pines was better than expected. Excellent conditions and friendly service. Beer cart girl was great. Great value for the money. Would recommend. |

The course is great..either the east or west side, but the staff is incredibly rude and on your tail if you get stuck behind some slow old men. The guy taking licenses for the carts is one of the rudest. I thought it was a one time thing, but I decided to give it another try and low and behold I was RIGHT..the staff (other than the front desk) is horrendous. Never again White Pines never again. |

I've played White Pines numerous times. The last few times I was pleasantly suprized about how good the condition of the course was. Great bargain, especially spring and fall. |

I've had two very good experiences playing the East course. For 30 bucks, I thought the course's condition was well worth the money. Try it during the week, there is nobody there. |

Played a # of times in years past. Just went recently and boy was I disappointed. Greens were horrible. Ruined my experience. Nothing special about the course (north). Much better places to play. |

Very average course. You only need a 6 iron and up to par most holes, which end up looking very similar to each other. A bit expensive, specially since the greens were in questionable shape. |

Greens are marked up pretty bad, you'd better hit the ball straight off the tees or you can plan on bogey golf. You can score here. Friendly staff for the most part, better sneak your own beer in though. Driving range leaves a lot to be desired. Slow play can be expected. |

Very Nice Course for the money! Tight fairways with a lot of trees. Greens are a little slow and play can be very slow as well. Still great deal for the money |

I played this course as a single and it was above average. Some interesting target golf must be played. However the staff is incredibly rude and will never ever get another dime of my money. Making a tee time was like negotiating a hostage situation. The old crabby woman that answers the phone is akin to nurse Ratchett from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's nest. I would love to play this course again but will never do so as long as the current management is in control. Fore! |

it semmed as though there was a ranger at every hole and no beer cart. on a hot day that can drive you crazy. the ranger was for the group in front of us. SLOW old men walking, would'nt let us play through. I thought the ranger was out there for a reason. besides that, not a bad place. |

Very average course. There is nothing spectavular about White Pines. The only thing I remember about this course is that it was very slow, and no beer carts. |

I feel, contrary to others opinions, that White Pines is an excellant municipal golf club for the money. The staff has never been anything other than cordial and inviting to me or my customers. I feel that I needed to say this as some of the other comments were rude and unintelligently written. Play this golf course. |
