When the Wilderness Territory decided to develop the Glacier Canyon Lodge at the Wilderness in October of 2005, no one could foresee the change that the golfing world will about to experience. Wild Rock is a stunningly unequaled championship sport education that blends three different landscapes into a provocative and breathtaking round of golf. Wild Rock started to established becasue of the purchase of 200 acres to the east of the current area. Hurdzan and Fry is the world reowned golf course architects who build the world class golf Wisconsin Dells. Hurdzan And Fry change the course layout to maximize those views on the golfers trek for the brand new 18 holes of championship golf course. Last April 15, 2009, the golfers are able to experience the new 18 holes which filled with dramatic elevation changes, ravines, woods, stream and an old stone quarry. The golfers will enjoy the challenges course offers including the undulating greens and changes in elevation.
