greens in the last four years are generally fantastic (considering the amount of traffic). the new bunkering and tee boxes are great. the course is flat and low lying-can become a bit swampy. a pretty course, however it is often crowded. the rangers can be a pain in the ass if they don_t recognize you (or if you are playing too slowly). a lot of locals dis the course, but they often have access to the many private courses nearby. my course of choice when staying close to the city and travelling north are priorities. |

This flat but pretty course is much tougher than its offical rating, due to placement of hazards and trees everywhere. Conditions improve every year. Pace is good. Pleasse don_t play this course, so I can get on when I want to. |

Lots of water. Kind of plain but pretty. Pace is rarely a problem. For $40, it seems like fair value or better. Is there a better course for the money within 30 min of the city? |

Not my favorite course in the area. A little overpriced for the product. Better deals around the area in my opinion. |

An excellent course. The layout is challenge for the more advanced golfer, but isn't so hard as to turn away beginner and intermediate players. The service is superb, and the rangers keep play moving as well as supply water to thirsty golfers. The snack stand behind the tenth tee is perfect for golfers looking for a bite to eat after playing the front nine. Great instruction also. |

Tight layout with lots of hidden water. Greens much improved over the past few years. A solid park course. Only drawback... slicers hit into adjoining fairways making this a dangerous course layout. Heads up on #9 with balls incoming from #10. |

This is the worst course I have ever played. Tee times are 9 minutes apart and I had the course rangers standing over me while putting and making approach shots. I had one course ranger even talk to me during my swing. We finished 18 holes under 4 hours, but that wasn't quick enough for them. Out of 18 holes we were told to hurry up on 8 by course rangers. It's hard to shoot when people are still teeing off or still putting on the green!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, SO MANY BETTER RUN COURSES OUT THERE!!!!! |

Unbelieveably well-maintained for a park district course. Very nice course, good value. Only drawback - NO BOOZE!!!! |

Nice layout, reasonably challenging, in decent condition considering the amount of play it gets |
